The theme of the conference is “Advancing the Health of Nigerians in the 21st Century: Beyond the Rhetoric” while the sub themes are

  • The School as Health Promoting Institution;
  • Intersectoral Synergy – Means to Reduce Cost of Healthcare;

The speakers have been carefully selected from among the best brains in the various fields and are poised to do justice to the topics for our enlightenment and enrichment.

The LOC has carefully packaged this 2-day historic event with very interesting activities, highlights of which includes the 11th Irene Thomas Memorial Lecture, Decoration of Her Excellency, the first Lady of Lagos State, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu (an MWANite herself) as the Matron of the Association, the investiture of the 22nd President of MWAN Lagos State Branch in person of Prof. Frances Funmi Ajose, as well as decoration of two (2) notable women in our society, namely Princess  Abiola Dosunmu and Mrs Folorunsho Alaija as Honorary Members of our dear and great Association.

The 2019 Edition promises to be educative, memorable, refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure you won’t want to miss it.
